Would you like to see a true count of the population of Africans living in the USA? Did you know that a mere census undercount of as little as 1.7% or 100,000 of Maryland state's 5.8 million residents could translate into a loss of $1 billion dollars in federal revenue over the decade and considerably more?
Please join the African PAC and the MD Governor’s Commission on African Affairs, in cooperation with Bethel World Outreach Church, for our first 2010 Census Outreach, on Sunday, January 31st, from 10 a.m., at the main sanctuary, 8252 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910. 1000+ attendees expected, please arrive early !
The 2010 Census is an important civic and constitutionally mandated event that will shape the future of America and ethnic Africans who now call America home, in the next decade. As the region-wide census outreach coordinator to ethnic African communities, we urge your full participation in returning the Census Questionnaire upon receipt and properly responding to Question 9 about your race. Please come to an outreach meeting for more details.
