Founded in 2000 and incorporated in the State of Maryland, USA, the African PAC has been an influential part of the immigrant and refugee communities in the Greater Washington D.C. region over the years.
We are a premier umbrella organization that seeks to bring together all African immigrant and refugee ethnic or community-based associations, faith-based organizations, student or professional associations, and indigenous businesses for a common purpose.
Whether you are a first generation African immigrant or refugee, or a son/daughter of a Continental African, our VISION is to increase the participation of Africans in the Economic and Political opportunities dedicated to achieving their American Dream, by being the most trusted, the most respected, the most transparent organization in this class.
At African PAC, Inc., we treasure our tribes and tongues, and strongly believe that we in the Diaspora hold the last promise for Africa’s future. As such, our MISSION is to bring a coordinated Voice and Visibility to the core issues and challenges facing African immigrants and refugees in the United States, and to Mobilize them for action.

Social Responsibility: As immigrants and refugees living in diaspora, we applaud the efforts and sacrifices that others, who came before us, had made. We therefore, recognize our broad social responsibilities, as defined by our mission, to help inform and educate Americans and Africans alike about critical problems facing Africa and Africans, both at home and abroad.

By attracting and developing the best talents, stretching our people and developing them to have a “Can Do” attitude, we build a heritage for future generations who can demonstrate the value of intellectual capital, yet mindful that the pursuit of financial freedom is not more important than building cross-cultural bridges or cultivating lasting relationships.
